Although this was done in winter, it felt more like late autumn. I'd spent some time examining the scene and settled on this composition. The large trees seemed to be looking after this one

This was a plan B location, I'd intended on doing a summit shoot but conditions weren't too good early on.

Early autumn sunrise

Having spent a good bit of the early hours crashing through the woods and scaring all the wildlife. I found a composition I liked just in time for the sun to break out.

I got this as an after thought, having not had much luck with shots, I'd stopped here to for a drink only to look up and see the shot in front of me

bit of a scramble down here, I was looking at capturing a feeling of calm and used cooling, relaxing greens for the shot

This was taken in the fairy glen on Skye. not your average fairy glen shot. This looks like where they fairies would live...if they were real?

I tend to visit Perthshire for the majority of autumn shots. It's a bit of a forest and tree Mecca.
